ANDD launched its second edition of the Research Paper Series in summer 2023, with a call for papers on: "Promoting Human Wellbeing and Strengthening Capabilities for Sustainable Development in the Arab Region" this year focus is on improving human wellbeing and strengthening capabilities in education, scientific research, young people competencies and labor market challenges.
Authors of the shortlisted papers are invited to a capacity building workshop at Hamad-Bin-Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar, on 13-14 May 2024.
The workshop will be focused on policy literacy and aims at enhancing participants' skills in presenting and writing meaningful policy papers. Led by expert facilitators, it will cover crucial aspects of policy research methodology, evidence-based policy making, and effective policy brief writing. The workshop will also feature an interactive peer review exercise, providing a platform for authors to present their research findings, methodologies, and policy recommendations. A panel of distinguished experts will evaluate the papers, engage in discussions, and provide feedback to facilitate knowledge exchange and critical analysis.
