Governance

ANDD is composed of three important structural units, the Advisory Board, Steering Committee, and the task teams and working groups that work collaboratively and in coordination to drive the network's activities and strategic direction. The Advisory Board provides guidance, expertise, and recommendations to inform ANDD's initiatives, while the Steering Committee ensures effective implementation, coordination, and oversight of the Advisory Board's recommendations. Working groups and task teams play a crucial role in the structure of ANDD by facilitating focused and specialized work on specific topics or initiatives. This collaborative relationship strengthens ANDD's governance structure and supports its mission to enhance cooperation and dialogue between the UN and the academic community in the Arab region, ultimately driving progress towards sustainable development and the SDGs.
